We have a great club, and we're sure you will have a great time dining, dancing and meeting new friends! March promises to be another great month with music by a DJ new to our club, D J Luis. Our dance is Sat., March 17. Doors open at 5:30 pm so you may have time to meet and mingle. Dress for the evening is "dressy." Starting the evening we will have a wonderful Caesar salad with both ranch and Caesar dressings. Entrée choices are as follows: 1) Pot roast $23.75; 2) Pork Shank $23.50. 3) Vegetarian option is eggplant Parmesan $22.75. All are served with au gratin potatoes and seasoned mixed vegetables. Dessert sounds great… pineapple upside down cake. Sign-ups are from March 1 to March 9 by leaving your check and sign-up form in the box located on the front gate at 782 Torrey Pines Rd. Sign up with a group if you like and request your favorite table location or as an individual and we'll place you at a table with some new friends. Remember to check out our website to see the table locations and print out your sign-up form. Please call Carla at 797-3506 before 3 pm on the day of the dance if you have signed up and are unable to attend. She can arrange for you to pick up your meal to enjoy at home. Our "Chinese New Year" party was a big success with Joan and Roland Lau donating the "Prosperity Toast" salad dish that was enjoyed by all who attended, and especially those of us who traveled to Singapore and Malaysia with them last year. IDS is busy preparing for an exciting Performance Luncheon scheduled for May 31. Beautiful dances from countries around the world, highlighted by a number of national costumes and a silent auction will be showcased. Tickets will go on sale the beginning of May.
