Robert Dale Boling, 81, passed away surrounded by family and friends on January 1, 2018. He was born to Clarence and Gwendolyn Boling on February 28, 1936, Illinois. Robert "Bob" Boling has three children and two grandchildren. He is survived by son Bob Swoope, wife Lori, grandsons Josh and Ryan Swoope, and son Shawn Boling. Also surviving are sisters Betty Joan Lackey and Kim Bucaro, and preceded in death by daughter Cheri Taylor, father Clarence Boling, mother Gwendolyn Heness, sister Robin Heness, and brothers Jack and Richard Boling. Bob was a soap maker with Lever Bros in Los Angeles for 36 years until retirement in 1994. He married Donna Myers on September 23, 1989. They lived in Fullerton and Anaheim before moving to Sun Lakes in November of 2000. Bob, as he liked to be called, was an active member of LifePoint Church, loved to play golf and tennis in the early days of moving to Sun Lakes and was very close to a group of buddies that shared life, conversation and breakfast on a regular basis. Bob loved being the Men's Core Leader for Community Bible Study at LifePoint Church. Bob will be well remembered for his love of his wife Donna, their activeness in the church supporting his faith, and love of his family and friends. "Dee" Michaels, Dolores "Dee" Michaels of Richland, Washington, who formerly lived in Sun lakes for 14 years, died peacefully on January 11, 2018 with family at her side. She was born on April 19, 1933 in Bridgeton, N.J. Even though she married Thomas Elwood Jacobs at a very young age and became a military wife, her lifelong passion for eduction was not dimmed and she earned her bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees while raising five children: Debra Ann Jacobs, Pamela Sue Hilt, Barbara Jean Aalgaard, Mary Beth Jones, and Thomas Darrell Olson. She later married Darrell Olson who adopted three of her children. She loved her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren deeply. She spent her career serving others in the education field, holding positions as an instructor, principal and superintendent for many schools in Washington state, along with memberships in the following: Trout Lake (WA) Community Council, ESD 112 Superintendents Executive Board, Colombia Gorge Superintendents Group, Teacher Education Training Program, State Supervisor, Learning Assistant Program, WA State Education Agency, Assistant Professor, Graduate Education, Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA. In retirement she continued to help schools in need, writing grants for educational funding. She was also active in the community here in Sun Lakes. She belonged to a classical book club here for many years. She served as President of the San Gorgonio Child Care Consortium, served as President of Friends of the Banning Library, played Bunco, Bocce and occasionally Bingo. She was smart, witty and enjoyed reading and playing games such as Scrabble and Rummikub and watching old classic movies. A private family memorial service will be held in the spring of 2018. Her many friends here in Sun Lakes will cherish their memories of a very special lady. Geno Nicoletti, age 57, born May 27, 1960 passed away November 2, 2017. He was a son and caregiver to residents Robert "Nick" and Deanna "Dee" passed of cancer in November.
