FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2018 21 The Rules & Regulations Committee is continuing to study the Four Seasons Community Guidelines and CC&Rs with our chairperson, Cheri Howard, and new co-chairperson, Roman Dominguez. Saphire Rhodes has been representing FirstService Management in our meetings and we have greatly appreciated her assistance. Have you ever wondered what standards Four Seasons committee members must follow? Our Community Guidelines provide guidance on what is expected of the Board of Directors, Association committee members and any volunteers who work on behalf of, or in the interest of, the Association. Everyone must abide by the standards listed in the Code of Conduct. We must conduct ourselves in an ethical and professional manner at all times in speech, actions and in any written work. We cannot abuse the power of our office to conduct personal business or use Association resources for our own gain. We cannot place unreasonable or unethical demands on anyone and may not disclose or abuse privileged information that has been gained as a result of holding Association positions. If the code is violated, the Board of Directors may require actions that can range from reprimands to dismissal. However, a Board of Directors member may be dismissed only by a recall by the membership. None of the above is difficult to follow. These rules, plus a portion of one's time during each month, are all that is required, along with the willingness to serve. It's a great feeling to be able to contribute to our wonderful community. Many committees are looking for new members. We currently have two openings on the Rules & Regulations Committee. Come to a meeting and see how you can make a difference. We also welcome guests and are always interested in hearing the concerns of our fellow homeowners. Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 9 am in the RCN Conference Room. We are here to serve the community. Join us! You won't be sorry! ~ Margie Chadburn Rules & Regulations committee
