Crosswalks are in. The recent sport survey that was conducted revealed that walking is the top form of regular exercise within our Community. It was the Safety Committee's goal to be able to identify intersections that would help residents cross our busy Four Season Circle in a safer manner. Please slow down while traveling Four Seasons Circle and Green Creek Trail and yield to residents in the crosswalks. We have already received some feedback that it seems that our residents have slowed down in our crosswalk areas. There is a new stop sign at Four Seasons Circle and Slippery Rock Creek/Trout Run. Residents from Slippery Rock Creek attended Safety Committee meetings voicing their concern that they had limited visibility when exiting from the Slippery Rock Creek side due to the curve and utility boxes blocking their view in both directions. This concern as well as consideration for a crosswalk allowing residents on the north side to be able to cross to get access to trails and The Lodge made this stop sign necessary. The camera system at The Courts is complete. The new cameras will help management monitor the swimming pool as well as other areas at our new recreation center. 911 phones are being installed at the Summit and The Courts. Installation should be compete before March. Please locate the 911 phone locations in case there is a need for emergency assistance while you are at the facilities. Note, there is a 911 phone at The Lodge pool area near the outdoor shower. The Safety Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 10 am in the RCN Conference Room. All residents with any questions or concerns are welcome to attend. ~ Donna Lewis FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2018 23 Safety Committee This committee is making good progress in meeting its objective to carefully plan the HOA takeover from K.
