One was recommended for Board approval and the other will be revisited next month. Committee persons and Board Liaison, Claudeen Diaz were present. Additionally, our Morgan Stanley Account Manager presented an update on interest trends and reviewed our CD investment strategy. There is an opening on the Finance Committee. If you are interested, please come to our next meeting on Feb. 27. ~ Barry Ginnetti Finance Committee Several projects have recently been completed. The wrought iron fence painting in phases A and B was completed in February. The additional benches have been installed at The Summit bocce ball courts. The shade canopy for the pickleball courts is being converted from a four post to a two post design to keep the posts away from the playing surface. The installation of the canopy should be completed sometime in March. We are currently reviewing several new requests including resurfacing of the shuffleboard courts at The Lodge, window tinting for The Courts facility and the expansion of the Craft Room. The installation of new flooring at The Lodge will begin as soon as repairs on The Lodge building are complete. The committee is also reviewing options for improving the heating, ventilation and air conditioning in the Ballroom. The Facility Committee meets in the RCN building on the third Tuesday of the month at 8:30 am. We always welcome residents to join us and share their ideas or concerns. ~Bruce Lewis Facilities Committee
