42 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2018 In the month of January, we had four consecutive lessons with the theme "Loving God." The first lesson asked the questions "How do you know God loves you?" and "Why does He love you?" Two handouts were given to each of the ladies to either keep for themselves or pass on to someone else with the sayings: "God loves you," and "God loves each of us as if there were only one of us." The second lesson discussed how precious we are to God and what does God want from us, along with two handouts stating: "You are always on God's mind," and "Be who God wants you to be, not what others want to see." The third lesson discussed: "Can we make God love us any more than He already does?" and "We are the work of His hand," along with three more handouts to keep or give away. The final lesson was based on "We are who God says we are" along with two handouts and a beautiful guest singer at the end. In February we began our study of the smaller books of the Bible: Titus, Philemon and Jude in the New Testament; and Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi in the Old Testament. This study will continue for several months. Ladies, if you are interested in joining an amazing group of wonderful, Godly women who are diligently studying God's Word, we meet in the game room in the Lodge on Fridays from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Doc Sellars will facilitate our study. We invite interested residents to join us in learning from God's Word. We meet every Tuesday at 7 pm. Our regular meeting place is the third section of the Ballroom. We will notify participants of any room changes by email. You are invited to come and join us in prayer in the Game Room on Monday, March 5, at 9 am. We meet on the first Monday of each month. It is our privilege to come in agreement and pray for families, the sick, shut-in, and the lonely. We also pray for our country, the President, legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the government. We also pray for our community, and our city, all who work at the Lodge, and the Board.
