The Chavurah Jewish Social Club was formed to give Jewish
members of the Four Seasons community a place to meet and gather,
and a place to explore their Jewish identity. Then it was decided to
open membership to any member of the community to give them
the opportunity to explore the cultural aspects of Judaism and add
to the understanding and tolerance of different cultures in our world.
On March 18 the club will be meeting for its monthly Bagel and
Movie Bash. One of three different movies will be shown. The
Hebrew Hammer, When Do We Eat, Frisco Kid — decision will be
made during February's movie (look for flyer in the Lodge).
April 1 through April 7 is Passover. April 7 is currently planned
as the date for our Passover Seder. Date subject to change based on
the number of participants. Please call Nancy Justice (951) 769-
5804, by March 10 to confirm reservation. This event is open to all
community residents. It is traditional to have a Seder on the last
night of Passover and so we planned our event for later this year to
allow our members to have their own Seder on the first or second
night.
I'm still looking for new ideas to expand our events. If you have
an idea, please call and let me know. We are also looking for speakers
— if you know someone you think would interest the group, please
