Motorcycle Club
Over the past summer and fall our weekly rides took us to cool
weather destinations like Big Bear, San Diego and San Clemente.
With winter upon us, we will be heading to warmer desert regions.
We are so fortunate to live and ride out of Beaumont because,
weather permitting, there is a seemingly endless choice of weekly
rides that can be taken whether it's hot or cold. In addition to our
weekly ride, the club takes multi-day rides about three to four times
per year. Multi-day rides this past year included a three-day Bishop,
Death Valley, Las Vegas loop, a two-day run to Ojai and a two-day
San Diego run. This coming May, several of us have signed up for a
seven-day Utah run.
If you love to ride and you enjoy the company of a great group of
fellow riders, please join the club! The club meets the first Wednesday
of each month at 6 pm at the Lodge. Our weekly rides start out from
the Lodge parking lot on Thursdays promptly at 9 am. Also, if you
are relatively new to riding, don't let that discourage you. We are not
picky about what you ride. A typical collection of rides on any given
Thursday will include Harley Davidson, Triumph, BMW, Kawasaki,
Yamaha, Honda, CanAm and Victory.
If you would like to know more about the motorcycle club, give
our club president, Terry Humble, a call at 951-381-1354. Better yet,
join us at our next club meeting. We'd love to meet you! ~ Jim Ayala
