62 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2018
Big Foot CLUB
We started this club last fall when the above photo was taken in the
eastern hills near Lamb's Canyon. A Big Foot is rarely spotted this
far west and we are very excited about the prospects of documenting
his (or her) existence in our very own backyard! We have weekly
planning meetings on Sundays at 6 pm in the Lodge where we map
out quadrants we will explore each day during the upcoming week.
Three members are selected to wear "bait" suits: A gorilla suit
sprayed with gorilla pheromones (for possible mating), a peacock
suit (because Big Foots like pretty colors), and a horse suit (horseback
riding is widely accepted to be Big Foot's favorite outdoor sport).
Then, every morning Monday through Saturday, we start at a
predetermined spot and fan out, looking for evidence, from 7 am to
3 pm, at which time we take a break for lunch. We resume our search
until dusk then return to Four Seasons to meet and compare notes.
