| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2018 | 13 Landscape Committee One of the Bistro Committee's duties is to work with Francisco so that he can continue to deliver the best food and prices possible. With our wonderful community of varied clubs, functions and love of food we keep him very busy. His time spent answering questions about lunches, banquets and parties for us takes him out of the kitchen, where his time is better spent, doing what he loves, chopping and prepping for the next meals. Please use this committee to set up any and all future food orders for your events. We promise to be gentle and work in everyone's best interest. Marilyn Covey (who has been doing this for years) has asked me (Patt Gililland) to fill in for her while she is taking a temporary leave from her duties as Catering Liaison on the Bistro Committee. We are now in a training process so each of us will soon be able to take over your project and iron out any issues that could be worrisome involving your happy event. Our congratulations to the winners of last month's draw for "Bistro's Sunday Brunch for Two". The lucky winners are Fred and Claudette Gilbert; the ticket was pulled by Sue Malarkey. Bistro Committee More changes are taking place in the appearance of our community landscaping this year. By the time you receive this copy of the Herald magazine the parking lot and the area along the north entrance roadway will have had newly installed landscape. This will provide a beautiful look for all who live here to enjoy, along with our visitors. The Landscape Committee is now in a planning stage for our next project, with more information to be provided at a later date on future projects. We are still hoping for more rain. We all know the rainfall has been minimal. Nights are still very cool, though the days have been warmer than usual for this time of year. Irrigation can be increased slightly, however daily watering isn't necessary yet. As a reminder, if you plan to change your landscape to a more drought tolerant design, you are required to submit your plans to the Architectural Review Committee for approval before the work is started. The Landscape Committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month and homeowners are always welcome to attend. Claudette & Fred Gilbert
