We won't be singing for our supper but rather singing after supper. Our great Karaoke Master will have the equipment ready to go after that last morsel of dessert is consumed. So come on down with your neighbors to munch-a-bunch, chat-a-tat and then sing-a-ling! Bring a dish to share with eight to 10 people, your own utensils and beverage of choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee and tea, and ice. There will be a wine raffle with two tickets for $1. There's lots of songs to pick from — so don't be shy. You can bring your own tip bucket. See you soon! We want to welcome Nancy Kappe to the TGIF committee. Karaoke Hi everybody and welcome to the Karaoke Corner. Karaoke for March will be on Sun., March 11 immediately following brunch at 2 pm, in the karaoke lounge, which used to be called the Ballroom. And by the way that day just happens to be "National Karaoke Day." That's right, and that means all karaoke singers must attend if they would like to keep their status as a performing karaoke singer. Don't forget to bring your Karaoke License, and I will put the renewal stamp on it for you. If your Karaoke License has expired, you will be required to take the renewal test, which consists of standing on your head while singing Help Me Rhonda in the key of "C." If you pass that, you will not be required to take the written test. I would suggest that women that need to take the test that day, please no skirts or dresses, but as always, men will be allowed to wear them, so, no thong underwear gentlemen,please.
