6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2018 | This year is lining up to be a great one—so many exciting and interesting events and excursions coming your way. Mark your calendars so you don't miss out, make sure you are getting the email blasts to stay on top of information, and read your Herald. There is also a two page spread later in this issue about the Music on the Plaza events. • March 17 – Fine Art Show in the Ballroom. • March 20 – "My Generation: A Tribute to the British Invasion" Music on the Plaza (inside if inclement weather). • April 24 – Killer Dueling Pianos. You DO NOT want to miss this! If you have ever been to a performance, you know this is a FUN event! • May 6 – "Taste of Elegance" charity event to benefit two worthy causes: Assistance League of Hemacinto and Valley Restart Shelter. • May 22 – Music on the Plaza with Stereoflux: rock from the 1960s to now. • June 9 – Our big summer concert featuring a Tribute to George Strait. • July 4 – the Social Committee's annual 4th of July Celebration on the Plaza. • July 24 – Music on the Plaza with the "Hit City Rockers" (oldies rock and roll). • Aug. 9 –Bus Excursion to the "Pageant of the Masters" and Sawdust Festival. • Aug. 28 – Music on the Plaza with "Blue Breeze" blues band. • Sept. 29 – The Social Committee is putting on a Luau. • Oct. 2 – Bus Excursion to the musical "Beautiful - The Carole King Story. • Oct. 23 – the "Sundance Band" will be back by popular demand. • November – the Social Committee will need volunteers to help decorate the Lodge for Christmas. • Dec. 6 – will be the Holiday Luncheon; and last but not least… • Dec. 31 – New Year's Eve party. This calendar can change, so keep your eye on the email blasts and Herald for up-to-date information. I want to congratulate a few of our residents who were in a Quilt show here at Valleywide. Jane Pearce's daughter Billye was Best of Show. Mike Yeager had two beautiful quilts in the show and Juergen and Hortensia Roesler showed quilts as well.
