42 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2018 The first of February "Believe…" Women's Bible Study began studying the lesser-read books of the Bible, beginning with Titus, Philemon and Jude in the New Testament. The last of February through the end of May will be devoted to our study of the "minor prophets" in the Old Testament: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. We intend to learn all we can from each of these prophets, to ultimately understand the importance of God including them in the Bible for our benefit today. On Friday, June 1 we will begin a four-week series on "Blessing Blockers:" What are they, how do they block blessings, and why do they block? We expect a lot of class participation in these lessons, gleaned from the ladies' vast experience. June 8 we will hold our "spring" potluck luncheon. The theme is yet to be determined, but the ladies always look forward to these semi-yearly parties, when we have a lot of time to eat amazing food and socialize with our sisters in Christ. Ladies, if you have been looking for a Bible study to join, please come check us out. This is an amazing group of beautiful, Godly women who love the Word of God. We meet every Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 am in the Lodge Game Room. Hope to see you soon! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine "Believe…" Women's Bible Study Life Guide Bible Study This month, Doc Sellars will continue to facilitate our study of I Peter - Discipleship Lessons from the Fisherman. All interested residents are invited to join us in learning from God's Word and sharing our joys and concerns. We meet every Tuesday at 7 pm. Our regular meeting location is the third section of the Ballroom. We will notify participants of any room changes by email. We are calling for all intercessors to come and pray with us for our grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They are the hope for our future. This is the time when we must stand together unified in prayer. Our grandchildren are taking a stand and we must stand with them. Ronald Regan said: "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same or, one day, we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free. So, do we stand with them, or leave it all up to them? We must be optimistic for the future of our grandchildren and encourage them. Those who think negatively will be left behind.
