34 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2018 Creative Drawing & Sketching Class Teacher Rob Kelman The Computer Technology Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am in the RCN building. We try to announce the current month's subject via email before the meeting. We encourage discussion and suggestions for future meetings. Topics vary monthly. We try to present instruction, hints, tips and tricks for the currently popular devices and applications. Come on out and learn some valuable stuff for your devices. ~ Howard Lyon Computer Technology This is the perspective of our Artist of the Month Carol Teague: Before 2017, if someone had asked me if I liked to draw, my response would have been, "I don't know." With the teaching skill and direction of Rob Kelman, I have been able to revise my answer to, "yes, I Iove to draw!" Rob's drawing class has helped me to discover a new talent and also a new way to see life. With his gentle guidance and his keen sense of shadows and light, I have been able to draw things that have given me great satisfaction and pride. My hope is that my drawing of John Lennon will remind us all of his dream of love and world peace. Imagine. Come join us. We meet Mondays 10 am to 12 noon and/or Wednesdays 6 to 8 pm. Rob is also teaching Paint Time at Brew Rebellion, 33 S. San Gorgonio Ave. in Banning. Please call (951) 992- 9156 for more information. ~ Rob Kelman Taste d'Vine Wine Club's Ray and Sharon Geiser will be discussing the ABCs of wine (Anything But Chardonnay or Cabernet). They will be researching various wines and this will give us all a chance to try something other than our go-to standards. Our meeting will be held April 19 (the third Thursday of the month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese, fruit, desserts or anything in between, along with two glasses for tasting. Members $5, guests $10 and non-resident guests $15.
