FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2018 5 By Eric Zarr, General Manager MANAGER'S REPORT BUILDER AREA OUTSIDE POTRERO There have been many questions over the years as to what will happen to the piece of land to the west of the main gate on Potrero. I can definitively say that the plan for this is not finalized yet by the builder. This area was mapped out for 26 home sites. However, the builder has not finalized if these would be part of Four Seasons or a separate, albeit small, community. Ideas abound for this area, such as an RV park for Four Seasons, another Lodge, an Emergency Preparedness area, and a large dog park. Nothing has been determined yet by the builder, but once it is we will get the word out to everyone as quickly as possible. ELECTION UPDATE By the time you read this the election will be well under way. If you have turned in your ballot, thank you! If not, please make sure to turn in your ballot with your signature on the green envelope. California Civil Code calls for the election to be handled in this matter with the double envelope system. There are four seats open in this election. Please see our website, www. fourseasonsbeaumont.org for up to date information. BALLROOM UPDATE The Builder has completed the warranty repair work in the Ballroom! Yeah! The Association has scheduled to replace the Ballroom flooring from April 23 through May 4. If the schedule changes we will post notices in the Lodge, website and Daily Report. PROPOSED RULE CHANGE At the March 8 Board Meeting, the Board approved to proceed with member comments on a proposed rule change regarding flag poles. Specifically the new rule would be: "Flags on residential properties less than ¾ acre: maximum number of flags: three; maximum number of flag poles: one; maximum height of flagpoles: 20 feet; maximum area of each flag: 40 square feet (measured one side only). No flags displaying commercial messages, images or symbols may be displayed in residential zones." The purpose of this change would be to align the Four Seasons Beaumont rules with the city of Beaumont's rules. If you would like to comment on these changes, please submit them to the Board of Directors in writing prior to April 12.
