60 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2018 Bocce Ball Bocce Ball is played at the Summit: 9 am Tuesdays, 3 pm Wednesdays and 3 pm Fridays. Hours remain constant until the days are too warm. Everyone is welcome, including guests and family. Play is on tournament-grade courts with sideboards. The game is easy to learn and we mix and match players. We also change numbers on a team so no one is left out. Bocce requires no specific skills or experience. You will get a little exercise and enjoy a beautiful view, all with a nice group of people. If you want to learn, join us and we will meet with you about 15 minutes before the game to go over the rules and let you have a little pre-game practice. To schedule your first practice session or for more information, please call Mike Saperstein: (951) 769-7909; Larry Anderson: (951) 846-3123; Jeannine Baker: (951) 797-0833. ~ Mike Saperstein Saturday and Monday mornings start at 9 am, Sundays at 12 noon, for the winter and spring. We use a dust mop and spray to add ease and speed to disks. Beautiful scenery is the setting for play. Great game, fun, exercise with friends, all a few steps south of RCN Building at the Lodge. All are welcome to join and learn. Who goes first? Which color disks go? How do we strategize to block, kill other teams' points, and score for our own team. Players use a cue (cue-stick), to push their colored disks down the court. Each time we play, we draw for "random mix" teams. For more information, call Mike Saperstein at (951) 769-7909, or Marty Rotman (310) 948-1693. ~ Mike Saperstein Shuffleboard Bocce ball players ready on Wednesday afternoon play in March New surface (awaiting approval from the Finance Committee and HOA) for three east-most shuffleboard courts
