Old Days, New Ways: Celebrate Your Special Memories
At the February meeting our group discussed how to organize all
of the files, stories, and events of our family history tree. One subject
that surfaced was what to do with our collections of pictures, slides,
and old movies. So, for this month's meeting, we welcome Brad Blue
of Yucaipa as our guest speaker. Brad specializes in restoring and
formatting personal and family video recordings from VHS, HIS and
8mm reels/cartridges to DVD in his film studio which he opened in
2010. These products come finished with complete menu page and
chapters for quick access and viewing. He can scan 35mm slides/
prints to a DVD slide show. Brad will be bringing samples of old
photos, slides and VHS restored with current methods. The April
meeting is Wed., April 25 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose
Room. Everyone is welcome to come by and check out the Sun Lakes
Genealogy Club. Membership is always open and costs $20 per year
