Pick up Forms at the LODGE front desk. Exhibit A – Home Alteration Application Exhibit B – Neighbor Notification Statement and Exhibit C – Notice of Completion. Note: If you change your mind and want to add or change what you applied for, pick-up Exhibit D – Revision Form to Exhibit A. 2. Draw Plans (Plot Plan) showing your lot, location of your house and what you want to do. Show where any constructions such as: concrete slabs, walks, driveway extensions, patio covers, fans, walls, gates, fences, water fountains, TV dish, solar panels, sheds, lights, flag poll, air conditioner and gazebos will go and type and size of plants, trees and anything else you want to install. Note: if you are adding or replacing plants or small bushes that were previously approved, you do not have to submit another Exhibit A – B or C. 3. Take and submit photos of what is there now. Include pictures of plants, trees, decorations, ornaments (statues or any other objects) or others items you are installing. Submit samples of artificial turf, rock, mulch, edgers, pavers and like items. Submit these to Maria Donti at the Lodge Office on or before the Wednesday proceeding the next ARC meeting. We meet the first and third Mondays of each month. You need ARC approval before any WORK can start. Allow at least one month/four weeks after you submit your application before you plan to start any work. Some contractors, solar companies and landscape installers, tell you they can start next week or in two to three weeks. Remember if the ARC has questions, this could delay the project up to three weeks. If you have any questions contact Maria Donti at the Lodge before you submit your application. Read your copy of the Architectural Standards And Regulations before you submit your project. It tells you what you need to know and what to do. If you do not have a copy, pick one up at the Lodge Front Desk. OUTSIDE WATER SYSTEM: Turn on your control device (in garage) for each area that you water, one at a time. Check that each sprinkler head is working properly. If not, rub the head with your fingers to loosen any calcium build-up. If this does not work, you need to replace the head (your gardener can do this). If you need new heads, buy the rotary kind as they use less water (no air evaporation). Look at the end of all drip lines to see if the water is coming out as it should. If not, try cutting off 1/2 inch at the end of the tube. If this does not work replace the tube, or you may need to check the water valve to see if it is working (at the top of the valve there is a small black knob – turn it on to flush the valve).
