The Gallery Wall & Cabinet: The Student Art Show: Residents of Four Seasons are displaying their art work that they have created in a class. Whether they took a single class or many, they are proud to share their works with you. When you see a friend or neighbors work, please let them know you've seen it. I'm sure they'll appreciate it. She moved to California in 1988 then to Four Seasons in 2005. I began painting in 1975 when I lived in MD. I started with Tole painting, but had to stop when I started a job which didn't leave much time for it. I started to paint with Royce Jerman in 2010. I started out doing some birdhouses, some flower pots and a few special trays. Because I spent a lot of time on the Eastern Shore of Maryland I especially enjoy painting seascapes and have painted some for my family and friends. For holidays I enjoy painting small pictures instead of cards to go with each season. Twice I have painted pictures and mailed them back east and they have gotten lost in transit and I had to repaint them. My father was a talented painter and spent his spare time painting because it was so relaxing for him and I feel the same way. PLEIN-AIR LANDSCAPE PAINTING CLASS All interested artists are welcomed to join this class for free. Participants can draw and paint under the guidance of Andre Lohnert (whose work is at left). The class will meet outdoors on Wednesdays, April 11, 18 and 25, at 10 am at different locations in our community. The orientation will be held in Art Room on Wed., April 4 at 2 pm. The sign-up sheet is available in Art Room. Having fun in Royce's class Life Drawing Class
