6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2018 | We are diligently finishing up the planning for Taste of Elegance on May 6. I hope you have your tickets. Remember, every dollar raised — by ticket sales, drink sales, raffles, and silent auction — goes to charity. I want to thank our generous sponsors: "Stella for Stellar Service" Vogler Feigen Realty; Dustin Sanders of Home Financing Inc.; Rancho Family Medical Group; Ronald Duffin, DDS; J&J Tailoring; Consolidated Construction; Southwest Security; and Artistic Maintenance. Our sponsors pay the expenses of putting on this event. I want to send a big Thank You to Premier Tent & Party Rental for providing our tent again this year. And a BIG Thank You goes out to our Silent Auction Sponsors: Barb Hughes, Linda Morriss, and Henry and Eileen Saldivar. We have 10+ restaurants coming to offer you tasting bites, plus two wineries (Masia de la Vinya and Falkner) and one brewery. Soboba will be back teaching you how to play table games and offering you great gambling opportunities at the casino. Dustin Sanders will have a game to play where you can win raffle tickets to up your chances of winning a gift. BUS EXCURSIONS are a fun event and there are some great ones coming up that you don't want to miss. On May 7, tickets go on sale for the bus trip to The Pageant of the Masters in Laguna this summer. The trip will be on Aug. 9 and is limited to 52 tickets! The price will be $107 per person. If you have never been, this is a MUST SEE event. Especially if you love art — the LIVE reenactment of famous art is amazing to experience! Spend the afternoon at the Sawdust Festival and then head over to the amphitheater for the evening show. Bring your binoculars and a sweater, as the evening can become cool that close to the ocean. There are many restaurants and other food choices close to the event. The other great excursion will be to the San Diego Civic Theater on Oct. 2 to see the show Beautiful, The Carole King Musical. For all you Carole King fans, this is a MUST SEE. The excursion will include dinner at Bucca De Bepo (Italian Restaurant) prior to the show. Tickets will be go on sale July 16 for $106 per person. Only 53 tickets are available. There are several great events coming up right here at home. Do you have your tickets (on sale now) for the "Troubadour Experience: George Strait Tribute Concert" on June 9? Just $22 per person. Also, the Social Committee is putting on an "All-American Fourth of July" on the plaza with a lot of old fashioned fun. Tickets go on sale May 22. Watch for information about the Luau this summer coming in September. More will be printed in upcoming editions of the Hemet Herald. Remember, if you are unsure about what is happening, call the front desk or sign up for the email blasts. We are happy to help keep you informed! Activities Director's Message By Louise Ceccarelli
