My pet Mom said "No other name would do
for me!" In Greek mythology Apollo was the god
of music, dance, manly beauty, and more. It's a
perfect name for me since I love dancing with my
Mom and she thinks I'm quite handsome! I am a
four-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big
boy and weigh 110 pounds. My breed originated
in Switzerland. My ancestors were kept as farm
animals, often used for pulling heavy carts because
of their strength. Whew! I'm sure glad I don't have
to do that! I'd much rather do "high fives" with
my Mom and tell her I love her (I sound just like
Scooby-Doo!). I am also a therapy dog, trained to
comfort patients in nursing homes.
I love to take walks with my Mom Yundell, and
Dad Keith, and visit with my Auntie Po and Uncle
