34 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2018 Creative Drawing & Sketching Class Teacher Rob Kelman The Computer Technology Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 in the RCN building. We try to announce the current month's subject via email before the meeting so, if you are on our mailing list, watch for subject announcement. We have a couple of personal security topics coming up. In May the discussion will focus on security for credit/debit cards, phones, computers and tablets. In June we will have a presentation on identity theft protection. Come on out and learn some valuable things about our tech devices. We encourage discussion and suggestions for future meetings. ~ Howard Lyon Computer Technology This is the perspective of our Artist of the Month Diane Gray: While visiting my sister in Grass Valley, California, we went to the gardens at the Empire Mine. The lighting over the lily pond was so beautiful that day, with a few drops of rain and lovely clouds floating across the sky. Thanks to Rob's drawing class I was able to capture the feeling of that day using watercolor pencils. Classes are free and take place Mondays 10 am to noon and/or Wednesdays 6 to 8 pm. Please call (951) 992-9156 for more information. ~ Rob Kelman "Where the foothills rise up from the valley floor on the Santa Maria Bench sits Cambria Estate Winery. Family-owned for 30 years, sustainably-farmed, and passionately tended by a team proud to be stewards of this remarkable property, each wine bearing the Cambria name is grown, produced and bottled on the estate." Taste d'Vine Wine Club is pleased to present Wilson Turley, a Court of Masters Sommelier, and representative for Regal Wine Company. Wilson will be discussing four high-quality wines from Cambria Estate Winery. Our meeting will be held May 17 (the third Thursday of the month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese, fruit, desserts or anything in between along with two glasses for tasting. Members $5, guests $10 and non-resident guests $15. For more information, contact Terry Hall (714) 369-0828 Terryhall005@gmail.com; or Barbara Mull at BarbaraRN1973@gmail.com. ~ Terry Hall Taste d'Vine Artist of the Month Diane Gray
