FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2018 49 Our Curly Cues had a busy month with tournaments. On March 5 we had our quarterly luncheon at Sizzler in Banning. It was a huge success with 18 ladies attending. It's so much fun when we get together and have a chance to get to know one another on a more personal level, that is, if you can get a word in edgewise. Our ladies don't lack the gift of gab! It's nice to see our ladies putting in the practice time and it is really paying off because they are getting better and better. We are ready to take on the men in BFFG any time they are up to the challenge. Our second tournament against the Side Pocket sisters is May 25 in Hemet, results will be in next month's Breeze. We ordered some new pretty pink shirts for summer and outside tournaments. Aren't we getting fancy? We have two sessions on Mondays from 11 am to 1 pm and 1 to 3 pm. Hope to see you there! Our honeymooners (LOL) really put their relationships to the test. The men were out to win, wanting to coach the ladies, but the ladies wanted no part of it. Let me shoot my own shot is a common phrase by the ladies. It's all in good fun and a great time was had by all. In April we started a second session from 4 to 6 pm. Our 6 to 8 pm session has become very popular and sometimes couples have to rotate in which doesn't allow as much play time, so we are hoping that some will join us at the earlier time.
