As we are now getting longer days, the golf advisory committee
recently changed the fine from $25 to $50 should someone go out
onto either golf course without checking into the golf shop. In
addition to the $50 fine the appropriate golf rate would also apply of
when you played. If you are going out to play when the golf shop is
closed please sign the after-hours sheets or leave a voice mail to avoid
this penalty.
GOLF RULE OF THE MONTH:
#10 Players must comply with the Sun Lakes golf course and
facilities dress code. This includes all putting greens and practice
range areas.
Proper Men's attire: Collared or mock turtleneck shirts tucked
in or shirts with bands designed to be worn outside pants, shorts,
knickers or slacks. Shoes, sandals or other athletic footwear with no
metal spikes.
Proper Ladies attire: Shirts or blouses with shorts, skirts, knickers
or slacks and shoes or fleece suits with straight legs. Shirts and
blouses may be either collared with or without sleeves or collarless
with sleeves.
Unacceptable apparel for men or women includes the following:
Tank tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, fishnet tops, t-shirts, cut-offs,
cotton fleece sweat pants with elastic at bottom, gym/running shorts,
bathing suits or any denim clothing or flip flops.
PACE OF PLAY REMINDER:
Championship course: not to exceed 4:15. Executive course: not
to exceed 3:15. Please allow faster groups to play through.
