This item was tabled until March 14 executive session due to requested changes to the agreement from our legal counsel. • Finally, the Board opened RFP's (requests for proposal) for the drainage on the championship course at holes #14,15,16. GM Report, continued from previous page PROPOSED RULE CHANGE NOTIFICATION # 18-08 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association General Statement of Rules and Regulations (revised February 1, 2018 edition), that appears on the Association's website (sunlakescc.com) and are available in the administration office (please reference ARTICLE VI – Recreation Facilities Rules and Regulation, SECTION 6.01 – General Rules, Rule 1(a) – Restaurant Dress Code, at its March 28, 2018 Open Session meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its June 27, 2018 Open Session Meeting, following publication in the May 2018 edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect July 1, 2018. PURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed rule change is to provide members and guests with a degree of comfort and flexibility, with their attire, when utilizing the dining and lounge venues. EFFECT: The effect of the rule change, if adopted, is to maintain a consistent and appropriate country club atmosphere in the dining and lounge venues. Strikethrough = Text to be deleted Bold, Italic and Underlined Text = Text to be added ARTICLE VI – RECREATION FACILITIES RULES AND REGULATIONS 6.01 GENERAL RULES 1(a.) Restaurant Dress Code: To maintain a uniform dress code, the following applies to members and their invited guests (both adults and minors). i. Breakfast and Lunch: Exercise clothing or sportswear is acceptable but should not be excessively damp. Towels should not be worn as accessories. ii. Dinner: Exercise clothing and tee shirts are not appropriate. Hats and caps must be removed by male patrons. iii. Unacceptable Clothing for the Dining Room at Any Time: Tank top, halter tops, fishnet tops, bathing suit and beach wear, cutoffs, bare or stocking feet, torn T-shirts, sleeveless undershirts, and short shorts are unacceptable attire. Hats and caps must be removed by male patrons. iv. Individuals whose attire does not meet the above standard will not be seated or served in the dining room or the lounge. Breakfast, Lunch & Mid-week Dinner (Tuesday – Thursday) Country Club Casual is appropriate throughout the Restaurant & Lounge areas unless otherwise noted. Men: Shirts with collars, dress collarless shirts, or mock-neck shirts with sleeves, slacks, dressed denim, Bermuda-length golf shorts. Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, dressed denim, Bermuda- length shorts with a golf shirt or blouse. Hats may be worn with the bill facing forward; however; Gentlemen are asked to remove hats before entering main dining room. Attire not permitted: Cutoffs, short shorts or tank tops, halter tops, bathing suits, spandex or clothing with offensive words/ graphics, shirts must be tucked in unless designed to be worn outside. Minors are permitted to wear appropriate printed T-Shirts. Friday and Saturday Dinner in Main Dining Room Dress Code: Men: Shirts with collars, dress collarless shirts, or mock-neck shirts with sleeves, slacks, dressed denim, Bermuda-length golf shorts accepted during the summer). Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, dressed denim, Bermuda-length shorts accepted during the summer with a golf shirt or blouse. In General: Anyone under the age of 21 may not sit at the lounge bar. Members are responsible for ensuring that their family members and guests are informed of the club's policy on attire and are dressed appropriately. Management/staff reserve the right to define "appropriate attire" and may waive the foregoing dress code guidelines for specific club sponsored events, parties or extenuating circumstances. Please note that the dress code guidelines vary within different areas of the restaurant and lounge areas. We appreciate everyone's support in keeping with the highest standards.
