Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes
Our winter season has ended and our summer league has begun.
We had a very good winter with 23 teams competing and we ended
with a very nice lunch at the South Clubhouse. If you want to bowl in
our next winter league you can call Teri at (760) 217-9656. The next
winter league starts Sept. 10.
The winter season champs are: Just Lucky with Gail Stormes,
Marlene Gartman, Larry Stormes and Andy Toro. Second place: Split
Enz with Diana Reusch, Cork Irwin, Paul Gomez and Leroy Miller.
Third place: Four Play with Mitzi Taniguchi, Donna Reed, Ed Reed
and Ken Smelker.
The winter season high scores are: For the men, Rick Shanefelt
with a Scratch Series of 717. Andy Toro with a Scratch Game of 278.
Ed Quirke with a Handicap Series of 790 and Larry Stormes with a
Handicap Game of 292.
Season high scores for the Women are: Diane Spence with a Scratch
Series of 578. Tracy Galongo with a Scratch Game of 235. Pam Obry
with a Handicap Series of 779. Sharon Mills with a Handicap Game
of 287.

Attention newbies, Sun Lakers III bowling league plays on Wednesday mornings at Canyon Lanes in Cabazon. Bowlers of any ability level

9656. Equipment (shoes and house bowling balls) are available to rent, with new equipment for purchase.
