than this world." And "There are more worlds than ever were dreamed
of in Carl Sagan's philosophy!" ~ Zen Master Rama
I have never forgotten these words by my teacher Rama. In those
days it did so matter that there were more worlds that we could go
to when we died, or even that we could experience, as Rama was
experiencing, though that seemed so unattainable…
Nowadays, I'm not interested in worlds but going beyond all
worlds… I recall a dream I had once with Rama. We were both
sitting cross-legged on the ocean and I was saying that I wished to
merge into the "void." He said, "It's not like that…" but that's another
story… That said, though, whatever world is out there, there is no
fear of going to hell and no joy if going to heaven! It's just so much
real estate as Rama used to say. Peace is sustained by abiding in
Truth, identifying with the One eternal, formless Being and not mis-
identifying with "someone," a "me" that wants this or that.
SATSANG (GROUP MEETING WITH A SPIRITUAL AIM) begins
with a 30 min. meditation (15 min. if new people are present)
followed by a discourse and a short video presentation offered by a
teacher adhering to the teaching of Non-Duality. As always questions
are warmly encouraged.
We meet in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room on Sundays
from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
