| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | June 2018 | 5 Now that summer is here, I would like to include some reminders of things most of you know but sometimes "file away." Home and yard maintenance: This year's spring weather made plants, flowers, lawns and trees to grow more than they usually do. During some recent property inspections, we've noticed that there are quite a few homes in need of regular landscaping maintenance. If you are planning on repainting your home, please contact Maria Donti at the Lodge for help in selecting a color scheme and going through the approval process. The Architectural Review Committee is working diligently to get a color palette approved by the Board. To reduce the number of courtesy and violation letters sent out, we are asking for everyone's cooperation in this area. Remember, the end result is an outstanding, aesthetically pleasing community. Nuisance vs. Quiet Enjoyment: The CC&Rs and the Rules and Regulations mention your rights to quiet enjoyment. Every resident has that right when they purchase a home in Four Seasons. The common thread of homebuyers is they are soon to be retiring or have retired and want to enjoy all that the Four Seasons community has to offer. Some residents have interests or hobbies that they enjoy. On display each month in the Lodge, the Gallery Wall and the Hutch showcase the amazing talents of our residents. Recently, several residents who have had their books published are on display. Some hobbies, however, involve woodworking and power tools. We also have a few residents who own and/or restore classic cars. These hobbies may be noisy and disrupt those around you. So, if you work with power tools or repair or restore vehicles inside your garage (as the rules state), we ask that you consider your neighbors and the time of day/evening and the duration of the operation — basically, put yourself in the other person's shoes. Please respect your neighbors so that all may enjoy living in peace and harmony. Your guests: If you are bringing guests to the pool between 12 and 5 pm, you must register them. Registration takes place daily at the pool. Also, please take time to reacquaint yourself with our pool rules. You can pick up a copy of the rules at the front desk. The Board hopes that all residents can enjoy the pool and ask that you treat your fellow residents with respect when your little ones are visiting. The noon to five time period is popular with residents too. One last reminder: diapers are prohibited in the pool and spa. Removing them before entering the pool area is also a no-no! (Yes, this happens more than you think.) Okay, enough "reminding!" Have a good June and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads and Grandpas. And to those who are taking off for the summer, enjoy your trips. You've earned them! General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA
