The reserves at this time are $4,115,601.04. The total equity of $1,051,878.27 is a surplus balance. Facilities Committee We appreciate the many observations and suggestions made by our residents. Concerns and requests recently submitted to us for review have resulted in the following recommendations to the Board of Directors: • The installation of shades for the west doors in the Lodge Ballroom to regulate the sunlight and heat. • Adding Bollard lights along the walkway just east of the sports courts to provide increased safety and comfort to our residents. • Repainting approximately 1,728 feet of RED traffic curbs in the Lodge parking lot and on Couples Way. Additional requests under consideration by the Facilities Committee are the installation of a safety handrail next to the ramp of the new storage building and the repair and replacement of the pool furniture. Another significant project under review is the slurry sealing of another section of the streets in our community. The annual rotation of street repairs throughout Four Seasons continues to maintain the appearance and quality of our roadways. We take great pride in maintaining and improving our unique community, Four Seasons of Hemet. Please continue to support the Facilities Committee by offering your suggestions and assistance. We have another vacancy starting the end of June. Roy Brennon who has served on this committee as Chairman and Co-Chairman since its formation about 12 years ago is retiring. This is the time to become a member and dedicate a few hours each month to help maintain and improve our Four Seasons community. Landscape Committee There has been a few issues recently that have come before the Landscape Committee that need to be addressed with the homeowners that live in the Legends homes. Unlike the rest of the community where homeowners maintain their own landscape, the Legends homes are maintained by the HOA's landscape contractor (Artistic Maintenance). The HOA-maintained area for the Legends extends to all areas outside the pony wall or patio areas. The maintenance area includes front, side and rear landscape. Some homeowners have added landscape material which is prohibited. In some instances, the HOA has communicated in writing asking for installed plant material to be removed. It is also important to know that trees within the common maintenance area in the Legends do not belong to the homeowner but rather they belong to all the homeowners living in the Legends community. Your cooperation is needed and greatly appreciated. We closely monitor Artistic to make sure they perform their duties to our desired standards. If you have a problem concerning maintenance, please either file your complaint at the Lodge front desk or attend a Landscape Committee meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm to address any issues you might have pertaining to your landscape. We will soon be headed in to a difficult season as the heat stresses all of our landscape. To make the best use of your irrigation, you should water at night and check frequently to make certain that driveways, sidewalks and streets are not getting watered from run off. We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful color throughout the community. The committee is very dedicated and I wish to commend them for their time and commitment to our residents. Committee members are John Curts, Dennis Harris, Charles Ball, Brenda Billson, Addis Scott, Rudy Rich and Carolyn Sripathy.
