34 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2018 Mixed Media Arts Class Teacher Rob Kelman Computer Technology This is the perspective of our Artist of the Month Sandy Buelna: After drawing in pencil and colored pencil for several years, I wanted to try something new. That choice was to try pen and ink. After finding this picture of a street in Norway, I knew right away that this was the perfect one to do in this new medium. I'm pleased with the results and plan to continue with it. Rob teaches varied drawing and painting media which keeps the class interesting. We are looking forward to the July meeting when Wiens Family Cellars will be spotlighted. Their Sales Manager, David Owthwaite, will present four fantastic wines for our enjoyment. Wiens Family Cellars is committed to producing world class "big red" wines with fruit sourced from the Temecula Valley. They believe that Temecula can produce luxury reds that are among the highest quality in California. Doug Wiens says the family mission is, "To make the highest quality wine and provide it at a reasonable price. The winery seal contains the words Quality, Family, and Integrity. We stand firmly by those three words as our guiding principles." Our meeting is July 19 (the third Thursday of the month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese, fruit, dessert or anything in between along with two glasses for tasting.
