As promised last month, the winners of our second quarter
tournaments were as follows: Doubles were won by the team of
Dave Thomason and John Hyland with second place going to a pair
of newly-turned 80-year-olds, Ron Erickson and Emile Pelletier.
Singles was won by Dave Thomason with second place going to
Harry Henderson. Our June social was hosted by Jeannie and Emile
Pelletier. Their beautiful home is complete with a three-hole putting
green. Numerous competitions were being held. The guy who
usually wins brings his own putter and balls. Club members know
who that is.
July brings blistering heat so we have changed our starting time
to 8 am as of the first of this month. Living in Four Seasons, which
we call paradise, gives you a lot of club options to choose from, but
for overall enjoyment, satisfaction and just plain fun, you owe it to
yourself to give the Horseshoe Club a try. We meet at the Summit

We play when The Courts pool is heated and when the air temperature is 75 degrees or higher. We have warm-up drills and then play
