FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2018 51
Ladies Putters Group
The Ladies Putters Group held their end of season Appetizers and
Awards evening, at the RCN, on Thursday, June 7. Members brought
great appetizers to share and everyone attending was excited about
another great season, completed by the LPG.
The highlight of the evening was the awards presentation with Claudia
Rozzi the LPG Scorekeeper having the honor of naming the winners.
Phyllis Kates was awarded 1st place this season in the following
categories: Total Lowest Average, Lowest Game and Highest Number of
Holes in One. Phyllis also tied for 1st Place in Per Game Hole in One.
Leona Davisson took 1st place in the categories Games Played and
Closest to the Pin. Leona also tied for 1st Place in Per Game Hole in One.
It looks like Phyllis and Leona are setting the bar pretty high for
putting accomplishments. The other LPG members will have another
season to look forward to and also for an opportunity to improve their
stats. It's all in fun and everyone enjoys the camaraderie of the group.
The LPG has been invited to participate in a putting tournament,
being held at the Tukwet Canyon Golf Course. The group will also enjoy
a luncheon and awards ceremony after the tournament.
If you would like to participate in the Ladies Putters Group, we
cordially invite you to come and join us. Remember, you don't have to be
a golfer to be a part of the LPG. We meet at The Courts putting green on
Mondays, 6 pm and Fridays, 9 am.
