| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2018 | 5 I hope you took the time to read the Board's message on page three. It reminds us of things we sometimes take for granted and subtly reminds us to pause and reflect on the many things for which we should be thankful. I'm thankful for the completion of one of our most extensive and time consuming projects, the Radio Frequency Identification program (RFID). The project, managed through the Access Control Committee, has had a couple of "birthdays." During this time, information about the project was transmitted to the residents via e-blasts, inserted in the monthly billing, displayed in the lobby, displayed on the electronic board, and there's even been (unofficial) mention on social media. The information and feedback was not so good at first, but once the installation started, much more positive feedback was reported. The ACC members, the Emergency Preparedness volunteers, several homeowners, the Board and management staff have put in a great deal of time to make this happen and our thanks goes out to all of them! The volunteers set up 10 different installation dates — a couple on Saturdays, and the rest were during the week. As of this writing, 1,620 tags have been logged into the dwellingLIVE database. Logging each vehicle's information into all of the tabs took many hours to complete. How do we keep the database current? That's where you come in. Now that the transponders are gone, we need your help. Since the management office is responsible for entering vehicle and tag data into dwellingLIVE, it is vitally important that you let us know if you get rid of a vehicle and don't replace it. Also if you get a new vehicle, you will need to come in for a new tag. We have temporary tags available for a $25 refundable deposit. Once you get new license plates for your car, call to make an appointment for a new RFID tag. Does it cost anything? No, the RFID policy allows for replacement tags at no charge to residents. I want to remind pet owners to please refrain from letting their pets go potty on their neighbor's lawns. Try and walk them to the common area if you can. No matter where you are, please be sure to pick up after your pet. Have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July with friends and family! General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth
