| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2018 | 31
Calling all men! Does the "Heart of your Heart" inspire you to sing? Do you long to call your
sweetheart in song? If so, then you should check out the Sun Lakes Men's Barbershop Chorus.
No prior singing experience necessary, just a willingness to listen, learn, and join in. We are
a group of amateurs like yourself who enjoy singing and having fun. We meet every Wednesday morning at 9 am in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room. For details, contact Harry Kaylor at 845-8054. Come join us!
Barbershop Chorus
Cruzin' Cronies is a Classic Car Club that meets the first Saturday
of each month. We display our cars at 8 am in the Main Clubhouse
parking lot, and then meet briefly in the Multipurpose Room at 8:30
am.
During the meeting, we plan group trips to various venues, and
report on car shows many of us have attended or plan to attend. After
the meeting, we go out for breakfast to enjoy each other's company.
Four Cruzin' Cronies members displayed their vehicles at
Beaumont's Stewart Park recently. Fred Krissinger showed his 1956
Chevrolet; Kenny and Lavinia Brass showed their 1938 Packard
"120" Touring Sedan; T.J. Moody showed his 1923 Modified "T"
Bucket, and was awarded Best Hot Rod; and Neil Torrence showed
his 1942 Packard "180" Formal Sedan, and came away with the Best
of Show trophy.
Join us at our next meeting on Sat., July 7. There are no dues, just
friendship, outings, and laughter. You don't even need a classic car to
be a part of this happy group! For more information, call or email
Sandra Glickman at 267-1113 or glickman18@gmail.com. We'd love
to have you join us!
