Event Systems Neighborhood Watch Our next meeting will be Feb. 8. Januarys meeting will be replaced by the EXPO at Four Seasons for Four Seasons residents on Jan. 12, 10 am to 2 pm in the Ballroom, which will integrate both Neighborhood Watch and Emergency Preparedness (EPP is an integral part of Neighborhood Watch). As our community expands we are always looking for people to join our Neighborhood Watch Program. If you are interested in becoming a block captain, please contact Dennis Gray or Susan Wilson for more information. Thanks to our current Block Captains for all their efforts and support to continue to make this Program a success. ~ Susan Wilson The Holiday Variety Show conducted by the Performing Arts Club went off without a hitch in early December and, once again, the ESC was there to attend to the technical needs of the evening. The PAC presentations were fun and the lighting, sound and stage performed well to the enjoyment of a standing room only crowd. It was also a lovely inauguration for the new Grand Piano now found in the Lodge. This beautiful instrument was purchased by the HOA for the listening pleasure of our residents during productions and performances and three people played it in different acts that evening. We also thank everybody who helped in front of and behind the scenes. There were several inquiries from residents on how they can get involved with the productions, as we can always use help in keeping things organized. If you want to get more involved, email Roland Harrah at rolandthanh@msn.com. The 2012 Holiday Home Tour, sponsored by the ESC, was a huge success. What began as a whimsical fund raiser has turned into a well attended community event. This was the third Holiday tour and nearly 240 people toured the ve beautiful homes that opened their doors this year. While the majority of visitors were residents and their friend or relatives, about twenty-ve new or potential home buyers were invited to attend by the KHov sales ofce. While the model homes are beautiful, they are sterile and these visitors were thrilled to interact with actual homeowners, view homes that are lived in and experience the enthusiasm the residents feel about living in Four Seasons. Again, we thank Steve and Cheryl Bell, Steve and Martha Benoff, Terry and Betty Fears, Wayne and Cheryl Staples and Sal and Jane Valle for graciously opening their homes. The next event, the Outdoor Living Tour, in late May or early June, is in the works as well as next years Holiday Home Tour and there is actually interest in a Fall Tour. If you are interested in showing off your beautiful home in any of these tours or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the tour coordinator, Teri DiMarino-Davidson at (951) 769-4345. ~ Teri DiMarino-Davidson Emergency Preparedness Program (EPP) Our regular meetings are the rst Thursday of the month at 10 am in the Lodge Ballroom. Our goal is to educate and train each individual in the community to be EPP prepared. Each month we focus on ways to plan and prepare. This is accomplished through speakers, group discussions, demonstrations, etc. Come to our Jan. 3, meeting. Larry Goodreau will present on the Riverside County Great Shake Out. This will surely get your mind to thinking about what to do when the shaking starts. 14 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2013 | COMMUNITY NEWS We are excited about the rst Emergency Preparedness Program Expo. The committee has been working hard to bring to you the information and resources that help each of you be aware of the importance of being prepared. The EPP team leaders have put together great displays and are eager to talk with you about their areas. There will be something for everyone. Come out and bring your friends, family, grand kids, neighbors and anyone else that would enjoy a great expo on Saturday, Jan. 12, 10 am - 2 pm at the Lodge and the adjacent parking lot. ~ Anita Worthen COMMUNITY NEWS | FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2013 15
