4TH OF JULY GOLF CART PARADE:
The Art League won third place in
the Golf Cart category at the 4th of
July Parade (see photo). Thank
you to all who worked on it!
GENERAL MEETING: The
next Art League meeting will be on
Thursday, Aug. 30, at 2 pm at the South Clubhouse with
Cherry Valley oil artist David Fairrington. He will then teach
three half-day classes on September 10, 17 and 24 in the MCH
Arts & Crafts Room. A sign-up sheet will be at the August Art
League meeting or you may contact Rosa Gascoigne at 845-
7219 or at rgascoigne@dc.rr.com.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
ART SHOW – Sat., Oct. 6. Entry forms will be available
in the Main Clubhouse Art League bin by Aug. 3, and the
deadline for entries is Fri., Sept. 28.
FUNDRAISING SOCIAL – Wed., Oct. 17. More information
to come!
