MANAGER'S REPORT
SLURRY SEAL VS NEW ROAD
There have been several questions as to why we
slurry seal the roads versus putting in new roads. The
main reason we do this is cost. To remove and replace
a roadway is a very expensive process. We have used
crack filler and done small removal and replacement
where crack filler would not be effective. Utilizing
slurry seal and crack filler will increase the asphalt
life for many years.
SOLICITORS
There have been several reports of solicitors for
different services coming through the community
lately. Please continue to call the Lodge to report
them when it happens again. Another way to help is
to never use the service that a solicitor is offering. If
no one purchases from a solicitor it is less likely they
will come back to the community in the future.
Calendar changes: You must complete a Schedule Change Request Form,
found on the website or at the Front Desk in the Lodge,
by the 8th of the month to make it in the following month's calendar.
