We had a great turn out for our annual July Fourth tournament.
Good food, good fun, and great people. Congratulations to all of this
year's competitors. Lian Lee and Pete Antoine took first place followed
by Alex Castanon and Paco Paez in second place, and Jeannine Baker
and Mitch Harmon in third place.
To those (like myself ) who did not place in the tournament, now is
as good a time as any to come down to the Courts to hone your table
tennis skills. With the hot summer days in full swing, come in out of
the heat and enjoy a game or two. Look forward to seeing you there.

What fun on July 1, when we held our Annual Trophy Tournament,
and the winners were:
1st Place: Syed Ali & Alex Castano
2nd Place: Elizabeth Gallegos & Diego Santos
3rd Place: Marilyn Smith & Terry Miller
We had an amazing BBQ after the tourney; hamburgers and hot
dogs were graciously provided by Richard and Shao Carrasco. Thank
you to those who donated side dishes, plates, napkins, desserts and
utensils. What a generous group we have.
Thanks to the committee members for their organization of this
tournament, "Paco" Paez, Hailu Kinde, Tracey Maxwell, Diana Ali,
Terry Miller, and Alan Chan. I'm sure we all look forward to the next
