We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the RCN
Main Lobby Room. Our October meeting will be Oct. 16.
The genre for August was portraiture in the sun with different
camera settings and techniques, both with and without flash. We
critiqued members' photographs utilizing this genre and then our
chairperson, Irve Sturner, showed a YouTube presentation on the topic.
We participated in the annual HOA Art Show hosted in The Lodge
Ballroom on Sept. 14. A great time was had by all.
Our September meeting had not yet been held at the time of
this writing, but our genre will be to use creativity and photograph
something different. We will use shutter speed outside to control
ambient lighting and flash to control the lighting on the subject.
Visitors are welcome. We invite all photographers, regardless of
skill level, to join us for our regular meetings, workshops, in-house
hardware and software demonstrations, guest speakers, field trips,
