On Aug. 23 eight 4-wheelers headed east
on I-10 to Dillon Road in Coachella. Leaving
pavement on the Berdo Canyon Trail the group
enjoyed some fabulous scenery on the riverbed
run with some nice walls and a few rocky
challenges. The group then entered the southern
trail entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park.
Lunch at the Joshua Tree Saloon ended the day.
Come and join us if you own a 4x4 or would
like to ride along with one of our members.
We meet the second Tuesday of each month
in the Arts & Crafts Room at 7 pm to plan the
upcoming trip on the third Thursday. Any

All Seasons RV
I am sure we all are looking forward
to some cooler weather after this hot
summer. The RV group usually takes
individual trips at this time of year with
family and friends to cooler climates.
However, we did get together for a
fun barbecue at The Courts. A big thank
you to Bob Cooper and Mike Ley for
organizing this party, also to the group
for the tasty food.
We are planning several trips the end
of this year and next year to Tucson,
Moab, Havasu, Death Valley, Santee
Lakes, Camp Verde and Paso Robles.
We meet the second Tuesday at 6 pm
