Join us for the Art League Art Show on
Sat., Oct. 6, from 11 am to 2:45 pm in the
Main Clubhouse Ballroom. It's a great
opportunity to see artwork created by the
many talented Art League members who live
in Sun Lakes! In addition, there will be a silent auction of donated
artwork. All Sun Lakers and guests are welcome at this free event.
As you know, it takes a lot of volunteers to put on a successful Art
Show. If you would like to help for a couple of hours on Oct. 6, please

The October General Meeting will be held on Thurs., Oct. 25, at 2
pm at the South Clubhouse. Cherry Valley artist Suni Godbold will
do a demo on watercolor painting.
The winners of the mini-show at the August General Meeting are
pictured right. The 1st - 3rd were chosen by those at the meeting.
The Best of Show was chosen by David Fairrington, the demo artist
at the meeting.
October Acrylic Painting Class - Joe A. Oakes, the demo artist
at the September Art League meeting, will teach acrylic painting
classes on Oct. 8, 15 and 22 in the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts
Room from 9 am to 12 noon. The total cost of the three classes is $30
for members/$35 for non-members. To see examples of his work, go

The dues for 2018 are $20. For information on joining the Art
