The Players Theater wishes to express its sincere appreciation to our audience, some of which attend most or all of our performances. We want to wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year, and hope to see you at our future productions. ~ Chris Pounders, Chair TGIF Nov. 2: Come out for turkey and dressing at TGIF. Let's celebrate the start of the holidays with the Bee Gees DVD after dinner. Put on your dancing shoes and join us. Invite your friends and neighbors to join you. Dec. 7: Christmas and New Year is just around the corner. Join us at TGIF for dinner, dessert, and holiday music to get you in the mood. Bring your ideas for TGIF 2019! Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Don't forget the raffle tickets are two for $1. NOTICE: There will be no TGIF in January. See you in February. We are still looking for volunteers to help with TGIF. Please call Charlene Kopp at (951) 238-0600 if you are interested. Let's keep TGIF going! Ballroom dance classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 2:30 pm in the Aerobics Room (near the gym). Leaders Sharon and Dennis invite anyone that wants to learn (or relearn) and improve their dancing to come to either (or both) of the classes. All levels of dance knowledge and skill are welcome, especially beginners, and each class is tailored to what people know and want to learn or improve. Classes were suspended during much of September and October due to travel by leaders Sharon and Dennis, so review of all the dances previously covered is in order for a while. Dances that will be reviewed again include Waltz, Swing (East Coast and West Coast), Cha-Cha, Nightclub Two Step, and Rumba. Foxtrot and Tango were introduced briefly, so review and learning i s needed there too. Also some couples Country dances such as Country Two-Step and Cowboy Cha- Cha were introduced by request, and can be reviewed again. Most people come once a week, but coming to both classes each week is fine as long as there is room for all. For more information on the classes, and to get on the mail list, just call Dennis at (951) 375-7445. Requests for other dances are welcome and we all learn together. Keep on dancing…
