| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2018 | 5 If you want the best resource for truthful answers to questions and factual information, address your concerns to the management office, not on Nextdoor or social media. The purpose of Nextdoor is to find a good gardener, share a recipe or welcome new residents. I've been told that many of you are asking questions that should be directed to our office. Remember the "telephone" game? The story starts out simple and becomes twisted by the end. In every community, there is gossip, rumor mills and hearsay. Please let your neighbors know they can get the "correct" answer by contacting the Lodge office at (951) 325- 8188 or via email at rick.ruth@fsresidential.com. Let your gardener know: I've been asked to write about residents and their gardeners blowing the lawn clippings and debris. If the clippings are not picked up, they can clog gutters, contributing to a bigger mess when the sweepers come by. Please have your gardeners pick up the clippings. What I used to do was trim the edges, blow the debris onto the lawn, and THEN mow the lawn. The catcher picked up almost all of the clippings and made the final clean-up easy. The bottom line is we need your help in keeping the gutters and storm drains clean. Maintenance of the Golf Course: Ray La Pointe, General Manager of the golf course, and I met with Hemet Code enforcement and a planning representative to discuss the volume of calls the city and Ray have received from residents reporting potential fire hazards and other miscellaneous concerns. Code Enforcement and Ray have asked us (Four Seasons) to help them reduce their call volume. We all agreed that if residents have any concerns with the aforementioned, please do not contact the city or the golf course. Contact the Four Seasons Lodge. This does a couple of things: Calling us reduces the city's and Ray's time spent handling the calls. Your concerns will be forwarded via email to Ray so they can be addressed and tracked. Ray will then let us know when action is taken. Ray is making every effort to get on a regular maintenance schedule and hopes to have one in place in one to two years, if not sooner. Please keep in mind that course improvements began taking place a year ago and the golf course staff will need more time to continue their efforts. This holiday season is going to be another really special time at the Lodge and I can't wait! Right after Thanksgiving, the Lodge, garden area gazebo and the main entry will be beautifully decorated with LED lights. Each year, a lot of folks give of their time to transform the Lodge into a special place to be enjoyed by all. Thank you volunteers! For those of you who are new owners, you'll be delighted at the transformation. We could always use your help. Let's take a moment to think about the things we should be thankful for: health, family, friends, neighbors and the wonderful community in which to live. May you and your loved ones have a peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday! General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth
