4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | NOVEMBER 2018 The tour will be Saturday, December 8, 1 – 3:30 pm. We need homeowners to open their holiday-decorated homes for our Holiday Home Tour. The tour this year is two weeks after Thanksgiving, that will give you more time to decorate your home. Please consider having your home on the tour. We have had many types of décor, not just Christmas. If you celebrate Hanukkah we would love to see your home. Please keep in mind we must have a minimum of six homes to tour. This is a community of over 500 homes. We would like to have eight homes. Decorating for the holidays is hard work, but a lot of fun to do and see. Sign up to put your home on tour will be at the Lodge Front Desk starting Thursday, November 1. The last day for sign ups is Friday, November 30. If we do not have enough homes to tour, the tour will be canceled again. An meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at 11 am in the craft room for those who are thinking about putting their home on tour but are not sure about what to do. Those wishing to tour will need to sign up on or after Monday, November 26 at the Front Desk. The last day to sign up to tour homes is Wednesday, December 5. You might think about talking to your neighbors and friends about putting their home on the tour. Holiday Home Tour Join us Tuesday, December 11 at 4 pm for an evening of holiday cheer as SDV residents gather for our annual Christmas cart caroling. All participants are welcome to gather in the Lodge parking lot at 4 pm. Residents who would like carolers to sing to them, look for the caroling signs in your area.
