It's early into the season, so there are no high handicap scores to report. Bowlers must have a minimum of 21 games (before bowling) to be listed for high handicap game and series. Team 1, Pin Magic (Dan and Teri Comerford, Bonnie Greene and Ken Smelker) is currently in first place. However, there are still a lot of weeks to bowl. Season High Scratch Scores: Team Scratch Series: Team 9, Wish I Was Bowling with a 1938 (Joan Allen, Fred Richman, Peg Laurel and George Thiel). Team Scratch Game: Team 4, Let's Roll with a 681 (Sallie Flesher, Sandy Hepburn, Larry and Carol Ellis). Men's Scratch Series: Andy Toro (782) Men's Scratch Game: Frank Burkett (243). That team is Holey Rollers with Warren Hollabaugh, Jo Hollabaugh, Mary Lou Peterson and Lee Peterson. In second place is Ho Lee Chit with Pam Obry, Kristi Herring, Joan Allen and Dave Obry. In third place is SOB'S with Ginger Chavez, Mike Draney, Karen Struchen and Ray Struchen. Our high season scores are: For the men, Andy Toro with a High Scratch Series of 709, Larry Stormes with a High Scratch Game of 258, Bill Casaga with a High Handicap Series of 734 and Bob Mcclean with a High Handicap Game of 277. For the women, Lakana Burkett with a High Scratch Series of 542, Barbara Semic with a High Scratch Game of 216, Brenda Day with a High Handicap Series of 673 and Mitzi Taniguchi with a High Handicap Game of 249. We still have 23 weeks to go. If you or your team is not doing as well as you should do not be discouraged. This may be the time for a lesson, then practice. Sun Lakers III The question I get asked the most is "why do these really good bowlers bowl with us" I have a simple answer, they enjoy bowling. The question sadly is never about my bowling. Our league's individual bowling average is 125, so I guess it could be said, if your average is above that, why are you bowling with us, but again, it's about the fun… As of this writing we have team Who Gives a Split in first place, Shelby Cline, Sharon Winkler, Connie Mettler, Ron Johnson.
