On Tues., Nov. 13, the last meeting of the year, was a special
dinner meeting enjoyed by 60 members and guests at the Jolly Roger
Restaurant in Oceanside Harbor. This dinner meeting celebrated
the 2018 year, recognized and thanked the 2018 club officers, then
elected and installed the new officers for 2019. President Jim
Chapman; Vice President Tom Roy; Secretary Ron Carso; Treasurer
Lawrence Aiken; and Charter Master Rollin Grider. We had a great
time and enjoyed an excellent dinner. Many lucky people won some
great prizes in the drawing.
If you enjoy ocean fishing, good fun and fellowship, please join the
Anglers Club for 2019 on Do Dues Day, Jan. 5, 2019; or you can stop
by the front desk in the Clubhouse and deposit your $10 check for
2019 and join now, avoiding the rush on Do Dues Day. 2018 was an
interesting fishing year and we are planning on scheduling similar
trips on the Pacific Voyager and the Voyager from February through
