42 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2019 Happy 2019, everyone! I hope this year brings you just what you're hoping for. If you're hoping for some entertainment that's $FREE$, close to home, at a place to see and be seen, the Performing Arts Club is going to make you very happy. Radio Show - Friday, March 15: WFSB, WF(our) S(easons) B(roadcasting), is "On The Air," again! I'm happy to announce that Tom Shelley is back from his brief hiatus, and is back as producer, with his vision of the original Radio Show format. For an evening of nostalgic, good old time radio programs, mark your calendars and save the date. This is your chance to be in the live audience for two episodes of some of the best programs from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. We will do our best to rekindle that excitement you remember from your youth when family, friends and neighbors would gather around the radio, a few minutes before the start of the show. We didn't want to miss anything. Auditions for the Radio Show - Thursday, Jan. 24 at 5:30 pm, in The Lodge Theater: In order to provide you with the best possible show, we need good actors. While we do read from our scripts, it is very important to be able to convince the audience of your character's part. To help achieve that goal, Tom Shelley, producer, will be including acting lessons as part of the rehearsals and is committed to offer the actors immediate direction, when needed. What a great opportunity to participate in a show where no memorization is needed. You do not need to be a member of the Performing Arts Club to audition. In fact, once you're in a show, you're automatically a member. So, come on out and audition for a really fun experience. Club Day - Saturday, Jan. 26, 10 am to 1 pm, in The Lodge Ballroom: Club Day is when Four Seasons' Clubs get together in the Ballroom, each with a table and members, to enlighten you about what they have to offer. The Performing Arts Club will be there with lots of memorabilia and information that is worthy stopping by to see. Please come with your ideas for what you'd like to see in our shows. Let us know what you like and don't like. We want your feedback. Check us out. We'll see you there. More information on future shows will be in the February Breeze.
