FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2019 57
In November, eight Jeeps met in Moab, Utah. Some came
in their motorhomes, some rented trailers at the RV Park and
others stayed at a local hotel in town. The weather was a little
brisk, but the sun was out every day. We met every morning at
the Moab Café to plan our day. Some of the trails we explored
were Fins N Things, Onion Creek, Hells Revenge, Poison Spider,
and Golden Spike. Rick Brower led part of the group and the
more experienced Jeepers went on more challenging trials, and
challenged they were. These folks ran out of time and day light
and had to spend the night on the trail in their vehicles. When
the sun rose in the morning, they were able to finish the trail and
had an experience they won't forget and don't want to repeat any
time soon.
Come and join us if you own a 4x4 or would like to ride along
with one of our members. We meet the second Tuesday of each
month in the Arts & Crafts Room at 7 pm to plan the upcoming
run on the third Thursday. Any questions can be answered by
Rick Brower at (951) 255-7119 or Don Fant at (951) 381-1972 . ~
