Do you enjoy playing the billiard game of 8 Ball? If you do,
come join us. All Sun Lakes residents are welcome to practice
with us Mondays through Saturdays, except for Thursday which
is league play. We normally draw for partners at noon, then play
until 2 pm or so. There is no cost to join our group. However, if
you elect to join a team, there is a $15 competition fee per three-
month season. Eight teams compete every Thursday; four
teams at 9 am and the other four at 1 pm in our Main Clubhouse
Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of friendly one-on-one
competition, come watch us play. For further information,

The short Winter Tournament began with 65 teams willing to brave
the chilly weather. Fortunately we play in the early afternoon, to catch
the 'heat' of the day!
There is little to write about at this time. Just a couple of reminders
— anyone can sub for a team as long as he/she belongs to the club
AND is not on a team. Also, if you're in need of a sub and haven't been
able to find one, call Dutch at (951) 845-0392. She usually has a few
people on her list that will sub but missed the alternate list.

for the Spring
Tournament:
Entries must be
in by March 8. If
you didn't play the
Winter Tournament,
your team must
fill out a new
entry card (in the
cabinet). Play
begins the week of March 18 and ends the week of the May 20, with
play-offs the following Tuesday and Wednesday, May 28 and 29. As
always, entries must be accompanied by the $12 team fee ($3 pp).
Entries go to 1288 Pleasant Valley. There is a box at the door. BTW,
we play at 3, 4, 5, and 6 pm, Monday thru Thursday.
