Vice President Barry Farrell and Secretary Carol Farrell operated the booth along with two of our instructors, Renee Meyst, and Tatis Cervantes-Aiken. It was great to see all the enthusiasm of the returning members, as well as the new members of the club. It is not too late for you to join also for only $5. Senior Fitness Club Tai Chi Hellooo Tai Chi friends… Tai Chi class on Feb. 7 at 8 am will be in the Mykonos Room. Instructor Christine Alisiani teaches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 to 11am (weights from 10:50 to 11 am). The cost is $5 per class attended (you can pay for and try out two classes without joining the club). Annual dues are $6 (please make check payable to OH Aerobics). Aerobics Ladies and gents, come join this FREE exercise class. We follow along DVD presentations by certified instructor Anne Burnell. This workout program is designed to help us seniors develop strength, stability and balance while seated in chairs. We meet twice a week at 9 am, Wednesdays in the Hall or Mykonos Room and on Fridays at 9 am in the Mykonos Room. Please check the weekly schedule to see which room it is in. Please bring one weight. Stretch & Balance Morning exercise An exercise class is held on Mondays and Fridays, 8 - 9 a.m. in Abravanel Hall. Attendees bring a floor mat and light hand weights for this moderate head-to-toe workout. June Cooper has led this class for many years and does a wonderful job! Come join us! It is free. Do you need a temporary loan of medical equipment? Helping Hands maintains an inventory of wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes and shower chairs for people living in Ocean Hills Country Club. Call one of the volunteers listed below and we will deliver to your door at no cost to you. You can also help a neighbor in OHCC by donating your unused equipment to Helping Hands.
